†Flat price for one business name and one registrant (owner). Each additional business name or registrant on the same statement is $10. Fresno County: the newspaper mails you a printed copy of the paper instead of us emailing an affidavit copy; a copy of the affidavit is optional (+$12).

* Publication dates are estimates based on the newspaper's usual schedule. The actual first publication date may vary with the newspaper's production schedule for that week. We email your confirmed publication dates as soon as the newspaper confirms them.

Business located outside California? State law sends out-of-state registrants to Sacramento County. See Sacramento County.

What the Price Covers, and What It Doesn't

  • Covered: four weekly newspaper publications, arranging the affidavit filing with the county clerk, and an emailed copy of the signed affidavit.
  • Per business name registered: each price covers 1 business name and 1 registrant (owner) on your FBN statement. Each additional business name or registrant on the same statement adds $10, shown before you pay.
  • Statement of abandonment: closing a business name? California requires the abandonment to be published too. Same flat price and same add-on rule as an FBN statement.
  • Not covered: the county's own fee for filing your FBN statement, which you pay to the county. Each county page lists it.
  • No hidden fees: no newspaper surcharges or rush fees. Your full total is shown before you pay.

Re-Publish or Refund Promise

Cancel before we submit your notice to the newspaper and you get a full refund. If your notice doesn't run, runs with a mistake we or the newspaper made, or we can't complete the affidavit filing, we re-publish it at no cost or refund you in full. Your choice. Full refund terms.
